You're not bad at English. You freeze when the pressure arrives.
These are the moments capable professionals describe again and again — in stand-ups, client calls, interviews and leadership Q&A.
- “My mind goes blank.”
- “I know the answer, but I cannot say it.”
- “I translate in my head before I speak.”
- “Someone asks me a question and I need too long to respond.”
- “I lose the word halfway through the sentence.”
- “I stay silent even when I have a good idea.”
And the cost is rarely just linguistic
- Being perceived as less competent than you are
- Staying invisible in meetings
- Watching less-qualified but more audible colleagues speak first
- Losing confidence after repeated freezes
You are not broken. This is a specific, trainable skill gap — and it has a name.
Frozen Professional Syndrome
A working model we use in coaching: a capable professional's nervous system can freeze in the moment, creating a gap between what you know and what you are able to say aloud. It is not a medical condition and not an intelligence problem — it is a pressure-speaking pattern.
Frozen Professional Syndrome is a proprietary coaching model, not a clinical diagnosis.
Knowing English and accessing English are two different skills
- Confidence under pressure is a skill that can be built.
- The body communicates before the first sentence.
- Real transformation requires real situations, not only scripts.
- The goal is not perfect English. The goal is clarity and credibility when it matters.
This Masterclass Was Built for the Professional Behind the Silence.
Most professionals recognise themselves instantly in one of these five patterns. Pick the one that sounds most like you.
The 3 Master Secrets we'll unpack together
Each secret breaks an assumption that keeps capable professionals silent — and replaces it with something you can practise the same week.
Stop Translating First
Most people believe more vocabulary is the answer.
Thinking in your first language, translating, then speaking adds a step you cannot afford under pressure. We show you how to recognise the translation loop and reduce unnecessary mental conversion so responses arrive in real time.
Pre-wire Your Phrases
Most people believe confident speaking means knowing more words.
You need a mental library of ready phrases for real moments: opening a point, buying thinking time, adding an idea, disagreeing professionally, answering unexpected questions, handling pushback and recovering a lost word.
Recover Without Freezing
Most people believe fluency means never making a mistake.
You can lose a word, misphrase a sentence or go temporarily blank and still hold your credibility. Fluency is knowing how to keep going — and that recovery is a trainable technique, not a personality trait.

The S.P.E.A.K. Method™
Five pillars that turn the English you already know into English you can reach when the room turns to you.
Stop Translating
Break the mother-tongue-to-English translation loop and practise thinking directly in English in the moment.
In the room: A stand-up update delivered without the silent conversion step.
Try this: Describe your last meeting out loud in English without rehearsing it first.
Pre-wire Your Words
Build a mental library of ready-to-use phrases, transitions, openers and recovery language for workplace situations.
In the room: “Let me take that in two parts” when a question arrives unexpectedly.
Try this: Write five phrases you could use tomorrow to buy thinking time.
Enter Any Situation
Practise realistic workplace scenarios until unexpected moments become familiar.
In the room: A client asks for a status you had not prepared — and it feels routine.
Try this: Answer one random work question aloud for 60 seconds, unscripted.
Anchor Your Confidence
Use mental anchoring, body awareness, posture, breathing and presence techniques to remain calm, clear and credible under pressure.
In the room: One slow breath and grounded posture before your first sentence.
Try this: Before speaking, plant both feet, exhale once, then begin.
Keep Going Fluently
Recover gracefully when a word disappears, a sentence goes wrong or your mind goes blank — without losing credibility.
In the room: “Let me rephrase that” instead of trailing into silence.
Try this: Practise finishing a sentence you deliberately started badly.
Rewire → Practise → Perform

Before, during and after the masterclass
A clear arc from recognising the pattern to knowing exactly what to practise next.
Before the masterclass
“I know English, but I freeze.” You arrive with one real workplace moment where your mind went blank.
During: understand the freeze
See what actually happens under pressure and why vocabulary drills alone do not solve it.
During: the 3 secrets + practice
Stop translating, pre-wire your phrases and recover without freezing — with practical workplace examples.
After the masterclass
You know what is causing the hesitation, and you know what to practise next.
Who this masterclass is (and isn't) for
Being explicit about fit protects your time. If it isn't right for you, we'd rather point you elsewhere.
This is for you if…
- You already read, write and work in English competently.
- You freeze, hesitate or translate when speaking spontaneously.
- You struggle in meetings, stand-ups, client calls, interviews or leadership Q&A.
- You feel your spoken English does not reflect your actual expertise.
- You have a high-stakes moment coming: an interview, appraisal, client call or panel.
This isn't for you if…
- You mainly need basic English or grammar lessons — a beginner course will serve you better.
- You are looking for accent erasure.
- You want scripts to memorise rather than a method to practise.
- You are looking for a generic motivational session.
- You need therapy or medical care for anxiety — this is coaching, not treatment.
If basic grammar is the real gap, start there first. Come back when the challenge is speaking under pressure.

Co-Founder, The Unmuted World · Impromptu Speaking Coach · Body Language & Executive Presence Coach
Arindam began as a software engineer and later worked in freelance data analytics. His own experience was that he could know exactly what he wanted to say and still struggle to access the words when pressure hit.
That gap led to years of studying communication, psychology and performance, and to coaching real people long before The Unmuted World was built. He now coaches working professionals on impromptu speaking, body language and executive presence.
I wasn't bad at English. I was bad at accessing English the moment I needed it most — in a meeting, on a call, under pressure. That gap between knowing and saying is the real problem. And it's trainable.

What previous attendees are saying
I was always the quiet one in group discussions because I'd freeze the moment someone asked me something unexpected. After attending this session, I used the Spot Response Formula in my very next college presentation — and my professor actually complimented my clarity. I couldn't believe it worked so fast!
